2006 LYA Spring break Airsofting

Another day of successful airsofting. Awesome day. Wonderful weather too.

Let's start with the guns.

Sig Sauer P226. Spring. Brandon's handgun.

Beretta M9. Spring. Pat and Jerr had like 25 of these. Standard sidearm?

Heckler and Koch G36. Spring. Brandon's rifle. I didn't see him use it as much though.

M16 (customized). Broken stock. Spring. Jerry's.

870 Shotgun. Spring. single shot. Jerry. once again, customized. Broken handle and stock. In my opinion he should have kept them on. haha. Pretty decent. Should try to use .2 g bbs in that thing.

Colt 45 or 1911. Gas blowback, semi automatic. Whatever you call it, it's a beauty. Too bad I don't have better pictures of it. Full metal, blowback, full ejection port . It's a very sturdy gun. Patrick's gun. man it was nice.

This lovely lady is a IMI .50AE Desert Eagle. Gas. Hardkick, blowback, full ejection port. ABS plastic, full metal mag. MY gun.

Steyr AUG. Fully automatic assault rifle. AEG. James' gun. Very very sweet. Pretty accurate and the bursts can be deadly through bushes. Got killed by this gun a couple times, underestimating it. haha.

This time we might add some wild stuff just for fun. Maybe waterbaloons? haha. and I'll bring a football to see if we can make up some fun games with that too. ;)

I'll be gone tommorow, so wed. won't really work. It's pretty much just thursday, cuz friday will rain.

We have two trails/areas to airsoft at. the new one is a bit farther, and perhaps my brother can assist in giving us rides.

The schedule for the day will loosely be like this:

Airsoft once everyone arrives
around midday take a break, drop stuff off at home and walk to 7 11 to get snacks/slurpees, walk back to my house and watch some tv and chill a bit
and if we still feel like it go back to trail or go to BNO trail to airsoft some more.

our day might end a bit earlier, if we decide not to do a second session.

OH and another thing, I'll be taking photos of airsofting again, but this time there'll also be individual pics and Gun cache pics, so pimp up your guns if you want and dress crazy (terrorist/SWAT/military look like) as much as you can. It's all good if you can't but I'll be posting it all up here so yea, look gnar gnar. haha.

AND there's a couple new scenarios. I also have a couple items to assist the scenarios. We'll see when it all goes down.

I went with Josh today to check out the airsoft place. It is VERY nice. At first I thought it was just a bit lame, cuz it was just a narrow trail covered with bushes, but once we got through thouse we got to a crazy opening place.

There was a cliff, pretty good to defend, and only one way up the cliff, which is a ramp like path on the side, which can be defended from behind these two bushes on the top of the ramp. At the bottom, there's a trail that leads to another pit, that is kind of enclosed and can only reached by one single path. So basically it's two bases, one on top of the cliff and another in a secluded area down past the cliff. Very cool place to airsoft. There's like bushes, hills, cliffs, pits and stuff to take cover behind and all that.

AS far as weather is concerned, it looks like only friday will rain. Thursday is "sunny". the rest are just cloudy days, which are ok.

I will get up a list of recommended things to bring, as soon as jerry and albs get back. tommorow. I'll give them a call maybe, and I'll also call James to see if he can go. Pat, I think we should try to make this work, cuz pple haven't been able to airsoft for a long time. but the K1 racing thing sounds cool. Thanks for suggesting it. My friends have been there before too, and they all love it.

Tommorow, I might be kinda busy. If you need to talk to me call my cell. I have a driving test tommorow. For my license. WISH ME LUCK! and then stay off the roads. hahah. jking.

jerry and pat, if you have free time could you ask if andrew wants to come? I think he probably would like to come.

This is not the top priority, I'm sure you guys have important things to do, so just tell me the days when you are free and will be likely to be sitting on your butt all day. We'll get a day of airsofting in. When we are done and are tired and everything we could then go down to 7 11 and get monster drinks or slurpees. Pray for good weather. we'll choose a day when everyone's available. For myself, I have a lot of studying to do during break too. haha. But one day should be ok.

LYA SPRING BREAK 2006

As some of you know, I decided to plan an airsofting event at my place during spring break. some pple might be gone during the beginning of break for a day or two so we'll try to do it near the middle of spring break or near the end. It's been a while since we airsofted as a group, and I don't want the lovely ladies(the guns of course,) to get dusty in boxes so everyone find your guns, dust them off, give them a kiss for good luck, and lock and load.

I still have to plan it out with everyone, but i'm so far only thinking of about 8-9 pple going, i don't want too many pple unless they all have their own guns and equipment and are serious about playing. Josh has told me he really wants to go, and i think he would be a very crazy player so looking forward to that. haha.

I'll post more later on about details, but for now, please contact me some way (i.e. tagboard, comment on this post, email, ) to tell me when you're available. I'll make a post about details and who has contacted me so far in a couple days. I have a couple tests to study for before spring break so yea, it'll all be good.

I had a bit of time on my hand and decided to make another post.

SO.

Leave a comment on this post if as of now you think you might be free most of spring break.

I found a new place in my neighborhood to airsoft. This is huge, not just the narrow strip anymore with a few bushes, but a big area with trails and stuff. Might be a bit too much though, we'll see. It's a very common place for airsofting kids in the neighborhood, there's a place that has a bunker made already under a cliff, and some kids made a wooden ladder to climb the cliff. Intense. haha.

yea and there's bb's everywhere. I had a quick round of spring one verse one shootout with a friend out there with our spring deagles. we have the same springers. It all came down to one bush, and we both ran out of ammo. I should hav busted out my gas right hter and shot him in the mask but it's all good. haha.

Okay the people in carlsbad (pat, andrew, and Jerry) have decided to make an offical team. the team will play in tournament, against other teams, and more.the team needs money to buy team guns/ bbs/ equiptment. the team will use this money to buy 24 spring berettas that they will use to for practice. those guns will have specical team markings that will dipict your status. Buy-in for the team is 5 bucks, and when you buy in you get a free baretta pistol plus obviously, team membership! So join fast while the getting is good! I was thinking of having Spring Break airsoft at my house. How's that sound? Spring break, most people should be available, since it's only one week. Weather should also be fairly nice. I'm not sure if the sleepover thing would work out, maybe but probably we'll just meet up in the morning and head over. A whole day of airsofting, this time rain won't bother, and attendance won't be too big of an issue.

Gun Care

You guys need to remember to take good care of your guns. If you have a Gas Blowback or AEG especially. If it's a mini or spring then they're very reliable you don't need to worry as much.

GBB handguns, you want to field strip. If you don't know how, I would suggest you look it up. If you want to figure it out, then just do the basic stuff, if something needs to be pulled really hard then i don't recommend taking that off. Once you field strip it and get the slide /and barrel/ off, then use silicone spray on the parts that get a lot of friction in the blowback. I would suggest you spray the end of a q tip and use the Q tip to apply lubrication to the parts. You can tell because there will be residue left from the gas on the parts that are sliding against other parts when the slide blows back, it'll leave lines. You can tell.

AEG i don't think you need to lubricate parts, maybe but just look it up.

I used silicone spray on my desert eagle today, and the recoil and hardkick is so much more gnarly. haha. Plus it's good for it because it'll keep it in good condition and not break.

You need to maintain your gun. Especially GBB. After every 1 or 2 shootings you should field strip it and use toothpicks and Q tips to clean off any dust, residue, sand, e.t.c. Gas does leave behind some stuff on the parts, and it'll gather with dust and the paint on the gun to become this black gunk. You need to clean that off. Then apply lubrication to certain parts. You don't want too much spray but just enough to make it move smoothly.

There's some things that have to be discussed, and everyone needs to understand completely before any more airsofting events.

Parents.

Your parents have to KNOW and be COMPLETELY OK with you airsofting. That means they know that you are using replica guns, they have seen the guns before, they know that there is some risk involved like any other sport. Also, they know that guns can be kind of expensive. You do have to be over 18 to buy an airsoft gun, no matter where you are in the U.S. That is the law.

Responsibility.

Airsofting, requires a tremendous amount of responsibility, logic, wisdom, all that good stuff. DO NOT DO ANYTHING WITHOUT THINKING TWICE. You are carrying an object that is visually equal to a live firearm. Other people have every reason to call the police or go vigilante on you and take you out.
..................Do NOT CARRY THESE AIRSOFT GUNS IN PUBLIC. never ever ever do that. Even with the red tip on.
..................Also, NEVER THREATEN ANYONE WITH THEM. Even if it's a friend, or during a game. If you get in an argument, and you raise an airsoft gun at someone to threaten them, you will be required to go home. No exceptions. This isn't to be taken lightly, this is how fatal injuries happen.
..................Maturity. You have to be mature to airsoft. That means you know what you're doing, and you will accept full consequence of your actions. That's the reason age restrictions are in place, because when you're young, you don't want to get punished for the things you do, and you won't accept what you've done. When airsofting, if something goes wrong, and it's because of you, you will have to answer for it. Fully. Not other people, not the people who offered the area for you to airsoft on, but you.

Age.

I would suggest being about late middle school and above before you even consider airsofting. Some kids are mature and smart and ready before then, but all that is based on what we see. You have to be 18 to even purchase an airsoft weapon. Think about that. They let you drive a car at 16. So they let you in a car before you can get an airsoft gun. What does that say about the amount of responsibility it requires? Also, 18 is the official age someone is legally independent. That means they take the consequences of everything they do. Not their parents. So whatever you do with your airsoft gun, you should be ready to take the consequence of, not your parents. That's why you should definitely think twice.

Sport.

Airsoft is a sport. Thus requiring top of the line sportsmanship. You have to work well with other people, in a team, take commands, obey them, and cooperate. IF you can't, then don't play. This includes calling your own hits, not getting in conflicts, no cussing, no fighting.. e.t.c.
You should not be getting obsessed with this.

Cost.

Airsoft can get quite costly. If you don't have the money, or your parents don't want you to spend that much money or your parents don't want to spend that much money on it.. then that means you have wise parents. haha. Unless you really plan on airsofting very often, spending big bucks on a gun isn't worth it at all. it is a hobby, so you should have time and energy to spend on it, maintaining it and personalizing it. If you are getting one, do not spend more than 90 dollars on one. That is the very most , and usually you should just get something about half of that or less. You can get decent guns at a fairly low price. Don't go for the best on the market, because those are meant for professionals. We aren't. If you can't afford airsoft guns, it's ok. Airsoft definitely isn't that important. tell us and we'll have a good basketball game or football some time. Yea? Also you have to supply your own Gas, batteries, bbs, e.t.c. (look at the bottom, the FPS chart. Any gun you buy has to follow that chart or you can't play with anyone. So check.)

PAIN.

This is a big factor. Airsofting does include some pain. Getting hit by bbs does hurt sometimes. I can guarantee that these guns are not lethal. At most, the highest power gun we have can probably cause a welt but will probably not pierce the skin. Nevertheless, getting shot will hurt. You have to be able to enjoy the game with the pain, or you can't be expected to play. this is what filters into all the other categories discussed earlier. Sportsmanship.. e.t.c. Seriously, if you whine about getting hurt, or you don't want to get shot, or something like that, then don't come out. You should be able to get shot, call your own hit, and stay standing. I can guarantee that none of the guns hurt enough to cause even a 10 year old to cry. So you better not. haha. jk if you want to, it's your thing I'm fine with it.. I guess....

Safety.

All guns have to be chronoed (tested) to be under these limits:
(with .2g plastic bbs)

AEG's (electric automatics. ) - less than 320 fps. (feet per second)
Springs (Single shot spring) - less than 450 fps.
Gas Semi auto - less than 400 fps.
Gas Full auto - less than 350 fps.
No gun can exceed 450 fps. No matter what. Even sniper rifles.
No point blank shots on anyone with any gun. No exceptions. Not even accidents.
You should know, because of your MATURITY, (see above) the distance you should be from someone when firing.

Everyone has to be wearing eye protection at all times. This will be enforced on the field. Do not take them off until the official call for "Safeties on Goggles off." They have to be on right away when we call "Safeties off, goggles on" . Even if you're still reloading.

Yea, So remember these things. Also, look on the right side, at the links, and read the last three links, the

kill rules. Scenarios.

GENERAL/SAFETY rules. MUST READ.

More safety. Cimmerans airsoft.

. You have to know those things before you can play. Safety is a big issue, but I've spent enough time typing all this for people to read, so go to other airsoft team's sites to read about safety. they're all the same.

Airsoft does not promote violence. It is a hobby and sport to recreate military/police situations for recreational purposes. Make sure you don't misinterpret any of this.

Silencer project

My mag light flashlight broke on BNO, and I was also interested in a silencer for my desert eagle, so I looked for a metal tube I could use, and realized the mag light body was perfect. I just had some trouble finding out how to attach it to the barrel of my gun so if anyone has any ideas, help me out. Here's some photos of what my gun would look like if I got it to stay on right.

This is the dream gun. Every airsoft shotgun, even the ones ranging up to 300 -500 dollar shotguns can only shoot one round at a time, and most are spring loaded, so you have to chamber a round every shot. This is

-gas powered, semi automatic, so you keep pulling the trigger and it'll keep firing, no need to cock every time you shoot.

-uses TOP gas

-fully upgraded to 400 fps

-one to five rounds per shell.

-gun holds 7 shells, each shell carries 3 bbs. Semi automatic.. so sweet...

-Gun ejects each spent shell after it is used. Ejects as fast as trigger is pulled.

The only bad thing... it costs as much as a REAL .50 AE Desert Eagle Handgun, or a lot more than many many real guns on the market. So yea, it's a good fantasy gun. haha. Until you're 20 or so years old...

thanksgiving airsofting

hey all you airsofting junkees out there, yes that means you daniel and jerry...
we will be having an airsoft gettoghter on the 25-26 of novenber, so this thanksgiving break, we will be having people come to jerry's house to sleep over, guys downstairs, girls upstairs( for privacy) i don't expect that many girls to be comeing.

we'll be coming to jerry's house at around 6:00 at night and then we will hang out and plan the misson/ teams and go to sleep

the next day we'll be getting up at 5:30 sharp! so don't come if you can't wake up that early!
we will play till 10:00 with a couple of breaks in between. heres what to bring

your gun- this time jerry will no longer have a "free for every one policey" please if you have a gun, USE IT!!!! (that means you alex!)

bring full face masks! - you will not be able to play unless you wear FACE protection! (that ranges from masks to commo wrapped around your head. so all you need is something to protect the head!)

BRING WATER- we want every one to be hydrated! bring at least 2 bottles of H20!!!!

bring any airsoft accesories- rubber knives, binoculars, AMMO!!!!! and excetera!

- requested from the airsoft guild of Avalon- please donate 50 bbs for spare storage, during the battle airsofters will be handded 50 bbs to use. this makes it so if we run out of bbs, we have back up!

BNO review

BNO went quite successfully. Thursday afternoon people started to show up...

THURSDAY...
A bunch of the people showed up, quite on time. We waited for Jerry to arrive and tried to rush out the door, but it took a while to get airsofters together.

David started the bbq in the back, grillin up some deliciouso stuff. Jerry showed up with a salmon steak! yum...

Airsofters left the house and we began the march to our battlegrounds.
When we arrived it was too dark to airsoft really, so we did one or two rounds and decided to go back for dinner.

That night we made the photo by photo story line of the raid. The non airsofters chilled in the house, grabbin grub and gettin some halo 2 action. They got the first of the crop, the bbq, and tv rights. When us airsofters trudged home after the grueling march back at a whipping pace, we were met with the smell of david's bbq grill.

We all did various things, some people chillin upstairs in David's room and some goin on Aim in my room, while other pple chilled next to them listenin to the ULTRA COOL music on my computer. Some people downstairs pigged out on junk food and watched tv/played gamecube or x box.

That night we crashed around 12, most pple in the living room.

FRIDAY...
I woke up at 5:30, the set time for airsofters. I began getting myself ready to head out for battle. Got all my essentials together, and headed downstairs around 5:40 to wake people up.

Met Jamie wide awake downstairs, ready to rumble. Gave him the word to quietly begin the preparation. I also met a few other pple awake. Tried to keep everyone quiet but I guess too many people were on the list. Everyone was awake by the time we left the house. I think next time We'll be only grabbing by random chance the few that will be ready for hardcore airsofting.
We left through the back, and headed up the street at the same jog pace as the day before. Guns in our bags, slung over our shoulders, we marched up the hill at a good pace, trying to get there before sunrise. Once we hit the downhill we got up the run. Everyone ran to the place to conserve time. We began the battles..

We made a couple battles in the first trail, from the night before but then we got yelled at and went to trail 2. We airsofted until about 9. It was ok but next time we might get fewer people.

We were spread WAY too thin. we had about one gun to every person, and a lot of guns broke, i mean a LOT. We will need to have extra guns next time, and try to keep mini aegs away. Also the rule might be limiting the padding on people. NO heavy sweatshirts. at most to keep the cold at bay, you can wear two t shirts, long sleeve or short, it's up to you. We also had a few problems with calling our shots. Otherwise the morning session was really good.

Went home to find the breakfast munched up. Oh well. We're soldiers, out to fight, not eat Crispy Cream.

Alberto, you need to take care of yourself so you can airsoft! We need maybe one day, where it's just devoted to airsofting. A day like Show up at 8 in the morning and leave at sun down the next day. we would play until sun down, maybe have a few meal breaks in between. maybe go back to the house mid day to eat and watch a movie, and head back out. Steven! you need to airsoft with us too. haha. borrow one of our guns. And also we need some new locations.

Regulation is, we'd preferr if you already have a gun. But if you don't, or have any trouble at all getting one, then borrow.

Overall I'd say BNO '05 was quite succesfull. Thanksgiving there might be some airsofting at jerry's. MIGHT be, Details still being planned out.

Ok so after service today I got this figured out:

two teams of 4-5 for every scenario. The rules, tactics, teams, and all that stuff we'll figure out when we get here. TRY TO GET HERE RIGHT AT 6! if not 5:59:99. we need to leave right away, so that the sun doesn't set too much and we can have a tiny bit of sunlight for our first battle. even if the sun's already set at 6, we want to have plenty of time to scout all the trails and try out all the scenarios.

It's gonna be so rad.

Can't wait..

Try to rest before too, get like a nap before coming here so you can stay up a bit.

WHAT TO BRING TO BNO

OK here be a list of all the things to bring to BNO. again.
IF YOU DON"T HAVE ANY OF THIS STUFF, IT'S OK. DON'T STRESS ABOUT IT. TELL ME WHAT YOU NEED AND I'LL GET ONE FOR YOU. IF YOU REALLY NEED IT.

Backpack. Bring all your stuff in it. You can bring separate one for sleeping stuff but it’s up to you. you will need a bag to carry all your airsoft stuff to the trail from my house, cuz we're not gonna parade there with guns in our hands and over our shoulders. We are going to be DISCREET, COMPRENDE? BE smart.

Airsoft stuff (obviously). Gas, Bbs, Speedloaders, Guns, all of them, e.t.c. bring everything! other people might need it.

Flashlights. You will need them. Make sure they’re decently bright, and can go a good distance. Go to your backyard to test it out one night. It should go from one end of an average backyard to the other side. And you should be able to see movement in the area of lighting. If you don't have one you can borrow one. I have about three, but two aren't that great.

Layers of clothing. To keep warm and for camouflage, but you don’t want to get too hot. If you’re not a sniper then you won’t need to be too warm. A light jacket or sweater will suffice. It’s up to you though. Prefferably wear dark colors. camouflage in the dark of night, and in the morning you want to camoflage with pale dark green bushes and dirt. So dark faded colors. You don't need real camo coloring, just a solid color will be fine. You just might not wanna run around wearing a bright pink/red sweater with bleach white pants. I guarantee you will be shot numerous times.

Batteries for flashlight. (not that important but just in case.)

Watch. You need a decent watch, that isn’t gonna be too hard to adjust and tell the time of. Also you might want one that’s digital, and sturdy. With a lighting system so you can see the time in the dark. We will need it for certain scenarios and also just for the timing. Before we leave my house, we're gonna synchronize everyone's watches. That way we can time the games, we can each know the "bomb" count down for that scenario, and e.t.c. Also you'll need it to know what time it is. Try to look for a digital watch that has the time, a backlight, and timer. That's all you're gonna need. also it should be easy to adjust the time of.

head gear. Beanies, Balaclavas, Shemaghs, anything that will make you look terrorist/counter terrorist/ SWAT. (Look at the last two posts to get clarification)

Goggles. Eye protection. Glasses/sunglasses/ e.t.c. MANDATORY!! You cannot play without eye protection. We might have one or two extra but tell me ahead of time if you don’t have any at all.

Water bottle. You don’t want to get too dehydrated.

if you have some walkie talkies, you can bring them but if they’re kinda expensive then DON’T BRING THEM. We don’t want to break anything that your parents like a lot or need. Just simple walkie talkies. Chances are nothing will happen to them but we don’t want to risk it with something really expensive.

a few snacks, granola bars. Etc. To fuel your metabolism on the battlefield. Not required but if you're an eating machine, then maybe you might want to bring a bar or two.

also, if you have anything we can use as a flag, or anything we can use as markings to mark out the VIP or the Terrorists or anything like that like an armband or something, then feel free to bring it.

Also anything that you want to bring to help your airsofting. But they have to follow the restrictions below:

We can’t do:.

loud noises. No screaming, yelling, throwing bricks, e.t.c.

No flammable/explosive things. No fireworks, lighters, smoke bombs, e.t.c.

Nothing illegal (obviously)

Guns have regulations. All handguns have to be less than 400 fps. All Rifles have to be less than 450 fps, and have to be fired at least 20 feet away from the person. NO POINT BLANK OR CLOSE DISTANCE SHOOTING WITH RIFLES! You will be punished, I’m serious. I won’t let any injuries happen during this airsofting session. DON”T EVEN JOKE ABOUT IT. If you need a sidearm, we’ll figure it out.

No physical contact. You can’t hit people, or anything like that. Talk it out, or tell me about it.

We will be simulating some SWAT/terrorist vs counter/ military scenarios, so we do need stuff to distinguish between teams. Here are some things you should bring if you have.

shemagh- you can probably use a small towel or scarf for this. Looks kinda weird but it simulates the terrorist team.

beanie- most of you should have one or two. bring all of them. for counter terrorist/swat

balaclava- for terrorist teams. if you have it bring it we'd need it. Plus it looks cool and keeps your head warm for night fight. also it's good camo for night.

if you don't have any of this, don't worry. DON"T GO OUT AND BUY ANYTHING!!
if you don't want to wear any of this stuff then you don't have to. if you also have any caps, or anything like that bring them. or jumpsuits, camo shirts/pants, et.c .

Black clothes are what you should most liekley bring. good for camo. or dark green, up to you.

and gloves!! important.

So WHAT TO BRING TO BNO??

everything in the last few posts and this post. Basic stuff you think you can use but aren't destructive. be creative. keep in mind this will be kind of late at night, so nothign really loud, but you might want to keep warm, but not too warm. We will be running around and it could turn out a warm night. but yea, also, dark clothes for camo in the night.

WE NEED BBS! .2g or .12g bbs. .12g will be for spring guns, and .2g will be for gas guns.
also water bottles. and BACKPACKS!! you will need backpacks.

My friends and I just finished a couple really intense airsofting rounds at the place we'll be airsofting at for BNO. That place was even cooler than I thought. It's a long strip, there's about two really good places for us to battle at, and it's actually very concealed so not many people will walk past and barely any people will see us. But we will be playing at night and some in the next morning, and there are houses near it so here are some guidelines:

+ We have to be kinda quiet. We can talk semi loud to communicate between teams but no screaming or yelling really loud.

+ No flammable things. Includes fireworks, explosives, etc.

+ Nothing really loud or anything that will disrupt the peace. We want to be unnoticed, so Wayneo that means no airhorns. SOrry.. you won't get lost, trust me.

+ we DO need flashlights. Bring them.

+ Sweatshirts, good enough to cover you up but you don't want to get too hot. we will run around a lot, and trust me, airsofting will get you hot. It'll depend though, on your playing. If you are an CQB person, like me then you will run aruond a lot. Probably don't need too many layers. If you're a sniper, and have to camp out a lot, then you might want to bring a sweater or light jacket.

+ eye protection. needed.

+ we might need a really small amount of snacks. Granola bars, etc. Not too much, just one or two for like 3 people.

+ bring any airsoft stuff you have. BBs, Gas, Batteries, Guns, Goggles, e.t.c

+ water bottles. you will get dehydrated.

+ WALKIE TALKIES! and earphones. They work really well. One team will get one channel, and another will get another channel. WIth earphones, you just turn the volume up really loud and you just have to whisper for them to hear you. That way you can communicate without talking and giving away your position. That was really important for our game today, but luckily we were within sight of each other and used hand signals to pass commands. I'll tell you guys the hand signals on BNO

Other rules and stuff, read the last post.
We might have some walkie talkies, but not enough for everyone to have them. Just one or two people on each team depending on how many people we have. Also the scenarios, kill rules, and equipment will vary depending on how many people play, but just know that WE CAN HAVE A BLAST WITH HOW EVER MANY PEOPLE.

I'll explain all the kill rules, scenarios, e.t.c. when you get here. Be ready to destroy.

I was just firing my desert eagle in the backyard, and I realized, This is why it's nicknamed the "hand cannon". It was actually starting to deafen me a little bit. This thing is a monster. The slide is smashing back like explosions, and firing it semi automatic is so beautiful. I honestly can't wait till BNO. This gun is probably better for CQB though, like in some building or hallway but I'm sure it'll manage fine in the outdoors.

FOR ALL YOU CRAZY AIRSOFT GUYS.

I was thinking that maybe some time in the summer or one year when we all have the time and energy, we could find some place, maybe a field we don't need a very big place, but just a remote place that is abandoned and doesn't have any rules or regulations. Probably somewhere outside San Diego. Maybe a place with a few buildings for certain scenarios. But anyways, if we can find a place like that we could go all out. For a full day or maybe a weekend we would go full camo, special teams, full suit ups, Smoke bombs and flash bangs (small fireworks we can easily get. I have a few smoke balls from a long time ago I got in L.A. that I still have for some reason :) , and special equipment. How gnarly is that...

Most airsofting events all over usually require people to be 18+ years old. We should make a team when everyone gets around 16 or 17. haha.

I have like an old sled that I can use as a riot shield which is good for fending off sniper fire, not giving them a good shot. Especially for handgunners like me. :)

Once you type it in then click on Satellite to make it into a satellite photo so you can see it clearly, and then move the map so that you can see more of the left side of the house. There should be a long semi vertical dirt trail sort of thing leading down the map. we'll be playing in the top section.

It'll be most likely night fighting too, so flashlights are important. Also no yelling during nightfights, cuz we don't want pple to know we are there some people will get mad that we're there. We'll be having stealth battles, and such so yea.

That is about as cool as airsoft gets. Yea, they are a czeckoslovakian Special tactics response team that drills all the real tactics used by law enforcement in that country but man that's hardcore. That's true airsofting. Look at their camoflauge and weapons tactics. That is hardcore.

I was browsing some shotgun reviews, and found out that most of the cheaper plastic shotguns are actually pretty bad. Since it's pump action, the plastic parts inside break really easy after a few days and the entire gun just isn't very reliable or high quality. So yea, I guess shotguns should be taken off shopping lists UNLESS it's a high end shotgun. But I don't recommend spending that much money. Mauri shotguns seem pretty good, pretty much any shotgun that goes over 250 fps and shoots 3 or more bbs every pump. Single shot shotguns aren't very reliable. you're probably better off with a spring handgun. or rifle. So what we do need though are rifles, someone get some AK'S! we need variety to make our game fun.

This is the Tokyo Marui SPAS 12 shotgun (Special Purpose Automatic Shotgun). It's really good but costs a lot. This is something for someone like jerry, if he sold all his other guns and saved up he could get this and be King Jerry for a few weeks. haha.(if you sold some guns and wanted to get a unique gun that would help make the arsenal vary, then I'll think about getting a second gun... :) ) This is a really insane shotgun. I kinda want to get one myself but I'm satisfied with a deagle :) . This or a M4 is good. Or some kind of automatic. We need AK 47s.

For BNO there will be some airsoft rules enforced, for snipers, and AEGs. We'll figure them out later on. also a change in kill rules and scenarios.

We'll be going to the park or the trails to have some airsoft sessions. If you don't want to airsoft, it's all good. Not everyone's going airsofting I think.

BNO is on Thursday, November 10, at my house, 5:00 PM. There's no school on friday due to Veterans day holiday. It will be a sleepover so bring sleeping bags and your teddy bears. Also bring snacks, movies, video cameras, etc. Brandon and I will be making a movie, spoof of everything we can think of that we can find a way to relate to "Cooking with Julia." Jerry bring extra spring guns for the pple who don't have guns. Flashlights will be pretty important cuz we'll be playing when it's kinda dark. We won't be out too late, just about 6 or 7 o clock, and maybye maybe if we have a really good game going we'll play til 8 or so.

We have to play quietly cuz this is a residential area, so no yelling or screaming or anything like that. If we play in the trails then maybe it's ok.

It'll be awesome so yea, be ready to have fun and fellowship with your brothers and sisters in Christ!!

Right now, we probably need more automatics and shotguns. We have enough handguns and rifles. If you don't have a gun, and are planning on getting one, then get a shotgun. There's no shotguns in our aresenal at all right now. They are pretty cheap about 35 dollars for a spring one that can go to 330 fps and sometimes less than 14 dollars for a shotgun decked out with lasers, scope, strap, and goes about 200 fps with multiple .12 g bbs every pump.

and automatics and shotguns only need to be about 200 fps -260 fps. That is sufficient cuz they spray mass bbs so they're perfect for CQB (close quarter combat). which is good in the terrain we'll be playing in, where there's alot of trees.

so yea, shotguns and automatics. James what you suggested the P90 seems pretty good but you might want to consider a shotgun, be the first. it's probably gonna be a bit cheaper too.

MP5 A4 's are also recommendable, but they are high end airsoft guns. They are full size automatic electric airsoft guns and cost anywhere from 200 - 250 dollars. If you can find a cheaper deal then go for it. We need some guns like that, for special teams.

I found a Airsoft Claymore. Claymores are landmines which are detonated by trip wires or remote. The real ones are really deadly. I know none of us are gonna get this but it's fun to check out anyways.

Actually, you can get a good spring handgun for $20 that goes 250 fps. 250 fps is actually the standard for high end spring handguns. 210 is decent. I got my spring desert eagle for $20 at SPorts Authority or big 5. It has a 25 round magazine capacity, which is really good. that's a really good gun except it's single shot, meaning you have to cock it every time you shoot it. Only gas and electric guns are semi-Automatic, meaning you keep shooting without cocking until the magazine is empty. Whichever one you prefer.

Also, we're just planning this for fun. It's not like a huge convention thing or anything like that. There'll be a good few people there and it'll be fun.

today's tactic is something called "tree Hugging"

Tree hugging- V.: The act of hugging a Green organic thing with bark - Tree hugging hippies.

yea i learned this tactic from my dad. he used this on me. this pic repersents what to do...

use the tree as a shield for it covers 90% of your body. it works, and when your doing this its reallly hard for opponents to hit you. this is pretty simple to do lol

umm for teams and stuff for all scenarios, we should have things that distinguish which team we're on. like we choose two colors for teams or something like that that helps us tell who's on which team. I was thinking wearing certain colored shirts or something. or hats.

Keep in mind...

To kill
To kill, you get them to surrender. Dead or alive. When you have someone surrounded, you can ask them "Dead or Alive" and they give you a response. If they say dead then they surrender and you let them leave the battlegrounds. IF they say alive or try to fight their way out, then you can shoot them until they say dead. If you are tired you can surrender by holding up your gun in the air, but having your goggles or eye protection stil on. THEY ARE ON AT ALL TIMES NO MATTER WHAT until the game is over. Also you can sneak up behind them and have a gun at them point blank. Then ask them dead or alive. That usually convinces them to lay down arms. Whatever the method, you just get them to surrender. People can be shot like a million times and still be alive, but they're probably really strong and can endure that time and pain so they deserve to still be in. This game is based on pain and stamina. I sound like a nerd but whatever those are the rules.

Battle field
The place we're playing at is probably a canyon by Jerry's. It's a long and decently wide path, and has trees on both sides. Going in, the left side is just a strip of trees and behind the trees is open fields, good for chases or other battles. There's a ravine in the middle of the open field and is pretty fun trying to get through or cornering a team or person. Back on the path, The right side is just higher ground, and trees, and behind that is fences and houses and private property.
The path is the main place for most of the action.

Scenarios:
Also, we'll probably be playing the following scenarios for the people who don't already know.
In every scenario, the game is over when everyone in a team is dead. Except target bombing. (read the directions) scenarios are :

All out battle.
Two or more teams. Basically it's like a war or gang war or something. You try to kill people on the other team. eliminate their team and win.

President (or assassin)
There is one team, the Presidential protection team. Depending on how many people are playing, there will be about two or three body guards. The bodyguards are usually the people who have the more powerful guns. The president (Usually Wayne) usually has a spring handgun. That's pretty much all he needs besides quick feet. The rest of the people will be assassins. They position themselves In the trees usually to ambush the president. Sometimes they'll charge or go around to attack from behind the presidential team. The point of the game is for the bodyguards to get the president all the way to the end of the path. They don't have to stay on the path, they can go around the trees, through the ravine, in the open fields, wherever they like. They just have to get the president through.

Bomb
We will have an alarm clock or watch alarm as the bomb. If you have played Counter Strike before, then you're pretty familiar with this scenario. Two teams, counter terrorist and Terrorist. There will be a bomb location and the terrorists have to bring a bomb that they have to the bomb location and detonate it. The counter terrorists have to kill them all or defuse the bomb once it's been set. To plant the bomb the terrorists have to put the alarm clock or whatever is the bomb down and set the alarm to go off in about 3 minutes. Then they have to yell out that the bomb has been set. We might need a referee for this game. The terrorists now have to defend the bomb. Once the bomb has been set the kill rule is changed to one shot kill.

Hostage
Possibly we might play hostage. You all pretty much know what hostage is. Bad guys have some hostages and the good guys have to kill the bad guys and/or rescue the hostages. bad guys keep the hostages for a certain amount of time and/or kill all good guys.
